Details

Established in 1905, Knorr Bremse became the largest brake manufacturer for rail vehicles in Europe. Designed by ABH-Architekturburo Heese, the Knorr Bremse Technology Centre in Munich was completed in 2004 and features motorised blinds within the glazing.

The technology centre contains offices and research areas, as well as training, seminar and conference rooms. A fully glazed facade ensures the building enjoys plenty of natural light and the glass curtain walling within the building provides a good all round view of the building inside and out.

As with the other heavy duty hinges developed by Securistyle, the Parallel Plus hinge is manufacturer from high grade 304 austenitic stainless steel which provides increased strength and guaranteed long-term resistance to corrosion. It is also fully supported by a 12 year guarantee.
