Brief

The architects have created a contemporary building with a cubist design situated in the Danube City to house IBM Austria. The Saturn Tower characterizes the modernisation of the business district in Vienna and provides 30,000m2 of rental space over 21 storeys. Each floor varies in size and layout, often interspersed with panoramic views from the large windows.

Details

The Saturn Tower is conveniently situated alongside the green of Donaupark and with easy access to the city centre. With breathtaking views over Vienna, the spacious interior, incorporating multiple balconies and terraces, makes the Saturn Tower a desirable work environment.

The 16,000m2 of curtain walled facade is aesthetically pleasing and in-keeping with the urban landscape of the city. This vast facade is maintained with the use of Securistyle's innovative Parallel hinge system, allowing for maximum natural ventilation with minimal disruption to the facade appearance whilst the windows are in the open position.

As with the other commercial hinges developed by Securistyle the Parallel is manufactured from high grade 304 austenitic stainless steel. The specifically selected high-grade material provides increased strength and guaranteed long-term resistance to corrosion, fully supported by a 12 year guarantee.
