Six members of Securistyles’ sales team have recently completed a fundraising hike across the Stroud Valleys in Gloucestershire to raise money for MedEquip4Kids.

The staff, from the Window Centre of Excellence in Cheltenham, undertook a 20-mile, figure-of-eight route in under 12 hours. So far they have raised over £450 for the charity, with this figure continuing to increase.

Glyn Jones-Sales Manager, who was part of the team, said: “We are thrilled to be able to support such a worthy charity and raise nearly £500 for medical equipment. As a team we chose a charity close to our hearts and are extremely pleased with how well the challenge went.”

Founded in 1985, MedEquip4Kids is a children’s charity that works with medical staff and community nurses to provide paediatric medical equipment and facilities for hospitals and community health teams. The funds raised go toward items known to improve childcare but are not readily available within the NHS’ budget.
